Light House Exhibition

May 26th, 2008

It’s been a bit quiet round here because for the last few weeks I’ve been astonishingly busy. Not least with planning my end of course show at the Light House Media Centre in Wolverhampton. This  is the culmination of  two years studying towards my HND in Photography and is Very Exciting Indeed.

Every student on the course and its sister program the part time HNC are presenting their personal projects. We’ve all put two months worth of work into these projects and they are wonderfully diverse both in subject matter and in technique. There are 16 people exhibiting overall and I personally am excited just to see what my fellow students have done let alone seeing my own work presented in a beautiful gallery for three weeks.

If you’re reading this blog you’re invited to the private view, it’s at 7:00PM on the 14th June. Email me and I’ll send you a ticket.

The embryonic group website is up here every student has a page which should all be filled by the time the exhibition is launched. The Light House site is here.

My project, after much brainstorming, is an extension of the Swan project detailed in my previous post and I’ll discuss it in detail in my next post!
